Greenwich Park

EN: I guess this park doesn’t need too much of o presentation. I am assuming that everybody knows about The Meridian Line. The meridian line in Greenwich represents the Prime Meridian of the world, Longitude Zero (0° 0′ 0″). Every place on the Earth is measure in terms of its angle east or west from this line.
On the first hottest day here in London (I hope many will come); I visit the oldest enclosed Royal Park, part of the World Heritage Site, Greenwich Park!
This site has been there since the Romas, and even they had a settlement here.

Also, there are several historic buildings, including the Old Royal Observatory, the Royal Naval College, the National Maritime Museum and the Queen’s House. Because we are still under restrictions, I couldn’t visit any of them, but this is an excellent motive to revisit the park😉 !
A wonderful day spent out there, the view over London skyscrapers and the famous hill that appears in so many movies all of this create a great experience and a very good way to relax!

Spring days are just beautiful. The trees are blooming, and the flowers are colourful, so I did took so many pictures. I was nicely surprised to see the famous spring string “Martisor” is used in London in these large, different communities. Here is my post regarding the story of the “Martisor”:

I had the opportunity to listen to a mini live concert in this great location. These rules during this pandemic create some opportunities for creative people to express themself.

Because I didn’t go to the museum, I will just let the spring photography show the park’s beauty and the joy of the people being out and together!

If need more information about the history of the park here it is:

Bye till next time!

Am avut oportunitatea sa ascult un mini concert in direct in aceasta locatie grozava.
